Your September Construction Update

A lot is happening on the ground at Floriana, with construction continuing to move forward across both Stage 2 and Stage 3.

Over the past few weeks, the team has focused on key underground infrastructure to support our growing neighbourhood, with sewer and drainage works progressing throughout the site.

Stage 2 Construction Progress

Stage 2 is taking giant leaps forward, with several key areas of civil construction now well underway:

 

  • Site establishment complete
  • Topsoil stripping 90% complete
  • Bulk earthworks 50% complete
  • Sewerage reticulation in the road reserve & easements 85% complete
  • Stormwater drainage works underway

 

As sewer and drainage infrastructure continues to progress, the next phase of works will see further services and road construction begin to take shape.

 

Stage 3 Is Underway

Stage 3 is also progressing, with early civil works and underground infrastructure moving ahead:

 

  • Site establishment complete
  • Topsoil stripping 90% complete
  • Bulk earthworks 50% complete
  • Sewerage reticulation 90% complete
  • Stormwater drainage works 90% complete
  • Stormwater easements 50% complete
  • Sewer and drainage trenching underway along Jakkalberry Drive and Chaillot Street

 

Neighbouring shed demolition is also complete, clearing the way for remaining earthworks and sewer works.

What’s Next?

The next phase will keep the focus firmly on the infrastructure beneath the new neighbourhood.

Sewer and drainage works will continue across the site, followed by further water reticulation works, services and road construction. 

We’ll continue to share progress as each stage moves closer to the next major construction milestones.

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information that we hold is accurate, up- to-date and complete. You can update your Personal Information at any time by contacting us in any of the ways specified in clause 13. How long will we keep your Personal Information?
We will keep your Personal Information only for as long as required for our business purposes and otherwise as required by Australian law.
Where we no longer need to keep your Personal Information in accordance with this clause 11, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify your Personal Information.
If you wish to have your Personal Information destroyed or de-identified, please let us know and we will take reasonable steps to do so (unless we need to keep it for legal, auditing or internal risk management reasons, or as otherwise required by law).

Finding out what Personal Information we hold about you
You are entitled to access Personal Information that we hold about you. If you request access to your Personal Information, we will grant your request unless providing you with access would unreasonably impact upon the privacy of others or is not otherwise permitted under the Australian Privacy Principles or at law. If we refuse your request to access your Personal Information, we will provide you with written reasons for the refusal.
